Adding a sword to your belly dance performance adds a different dimension. There's a soupcon of danger (how sharp is it?) the thrill of suspense (will she drop it?). The audience will "ooh" and "aah" as you balance the sword effortlessly on your head, your arms or even your hip, admire the graceful shapes you can make with it.
In this workshop, you will learn how to balance a sword on the various parts of your body while you dance with elegance, grace and poise.

Performing a drum solo is an exhilarating experience; it is when the dancer can really show off her stuff! In this workshop you will learn pops, locks, shimmies, intricate hip movements, Modern Egyptian drum solo combinations as well as a few tantalizing, deliciously flavoured fusion drum solo combinations. Bring water and your goddess spirit.
